  • If you are looking for insurance through the marketplace, there are 4 categories of health insurance plans: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These categories show how you and your plan share costs. Plan categories have nothing to do with quality of care.
• Your estimated costs for health care
  • Be sure to note what your monthly premium will be and how affordable it is based on your income and budget. Be sure to include out-of-pocket costs, deductibles, and non-covered procedure.
• Plan and network types
  • We will always explain everything to you, but it’s good to know the types of network for health insurance: HMO, PPO, POS, and EPO. Some plan types allow you to use almost any doctor of health care facility. Others limit your choices or charge more if you use providers outside of their network.
